It’s been a long time! About 2 and a half years since I’ve posted officially on The White Tee Way Website. I drifted towards posting on Instagram for a good while between 2021-2023 however, a lot has happened since then.

Some of the “bad”:

• After purchasing bear and I’s first investment property together in 2021, we accumulated debt between renovation loans and materials using credit cards that we’ve been trying to slowly pay off
• Bear got injured between the last half of 2021 and half of 2022 and we fell into even more credit card debt.
• I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in February 2023

Crazy right? Well things weren’t all that bad..

Some of the “good”:

• I’m cancer free as of October 2023!
• I sold my first property (the one I bought in 2019) for 70k more than what I bought it for!

Like I said, it wasn’t all that bad!

Now that a lot of things have calmed down in my personal life, I’m sure the biggest question you readers may have is: why am I suddenly back on The White Tee Way?!

Here’s the real reason why I’m back:

Ever since I was diagnosed with cancer my life had gone through a lot of changes. After surgery to completely remove my thyroid and completing radiation treatment I felt lost. I’ve questioned the career I’m in. I’ve wondered why I’m still working a desk job after going through a life-changing traumatic event. I’ve contemplated leaving my job with no plan in place. However as I got back into the daily grind of working, exercising and eating healthier things started to become clear to me. I enjoy helping others get into investing, improve their financial literacy, build healthier relationships with money and build towards a better financial future. I have helped people around me throughout the past 3 years, giving my advice and opinions on investments, credit cards and personal finance. 

So to actually answer the question of why I’m back and not blabber:

I’m back to continue what I started in 2020. And that’s to spread my knowledge and opinions on investing and personal finance. I’m back to help you, the reader, develop a better relationship with money, become/stay debt free and preach the importance of financial literacy, financial independence and investing.
